Customized Washi Paper
Karen Elaine shows examples of the many ways you can customize washi paper!

Listed roughly in order of appearance in the video:
- Hosho Paper pad, 48 sheets 9" x 12" (6H) - Karen particularly loves this for gel printing, Suminagashi (Japanese marbling) and Momigami (wrinkling paper to make it like fabric)
- Gasen (6G) also available in larger sheets (6G5)
- Torinoko (6T) also available in larger sheets (6T5)
- Usugami (6U)
- Hanshi Paper (6A, 500 sheets and 6E, 100 sheets) - very thin tissue paper; traditionally for Asian calligraphy practice; Karen likes this for stamping!
- Memento ink pad (not sold by Yasutomo)
- Japanese techniques Karen mentioned: Suminagashi (Japanese marbling), Momigami (wrinkled paper), Shibori (Japanese tie dye), Orizome (dip-dyed paper)
- Liquid Sumi Ink (KF2) - Karen used this for the black suminagashi prints
- Vermilion Ink (KV2) - Karen used this for the orange suminagashi prints
- Washi Paper Pad (6JM) - Karen likes this paper for crayon rubbings and Shibori (dip-dyed papers)
- Niji Artist Crayons (NAC12, NAC18) for crayon rubbings on our large Washi Paper pad (6JM)
- Gel Printing is great on Hosho paper (6H) and large washi paper pads (6JM)
- Laser printing works on all our papers (EXCEPT for Hanshi Paper - 6A, 6E)
- Holiday gift wrap looking paper was done on large washi pads (6JM)
- Brayer painting demo: Large washi paper (6JM), a brayer with a toilet paper roll wrapped with baker's twine, and paint: Karen is using Holbein's mat acrylic in silver and Liquitex acrylic in light blue (both not sold by Yasutomo)
- Nova Color paint (not sold by Yasutomo)
- Crayon rubbing demo: large washi paper (6JM), Joggles stencil (not sold by Yasutomo), Niji Artist Crayons (NAC12, NAC18) - Karen selected dark blue, light blue, white and gray
- Karen mentioned "back coating" origami paper - a technique of fusing papers together to make a double-sided paper
