Father's Day Fun with Folded Paper

Gift bag origami tie

Sliding Card

• Dimensions
  • Cardstock dimensions: 8.5" x 5.5" - score lines approximately at 2.5" from the left edge and 2.25" from the right side (doesn't have to be precise, just be sure there is a space of 3.5" in the middle)
  • Inside card dimensions: just under 3.5" wide
  • Origami paper cut to 4" square
• Materials:
  • Karen used a sheet from the Kaleidoscope origami series (4525, 4526, 4527)

Shirt, jacket and tie

• Dimensions:
  • Jacket: Standard 5-7/8" square (15 cm square)
  • Shirt: Standard origami sheet cut in half to 2 15/16" x 5-7/8" (7.5 cm x 15 cm)
  • Tie: 2" square
• Materials:
  • For the jacket, Karen used a sheet from the Kraft origami paper pack (4343)
  • For the shirt, Karen used a sheet from the Painted Papers Hodge Podge set (4542)
  • For the tie, Karen used a sheet of black origami paper - you can use a sheet from the assorted solids origami pack (4251)
  • For the little hand drawn accent, Karen used the Tooli Art 28 Wildflower Colors Acrylic Paint Pens Markers Set (not sold by Yasutomo)

For the watercolor card & envelope

• Dimensions:
  • Card: Fold a 5" x 7" Niji Watercolor Paper sheet in half (fold the 7" in half so the card is 3 1/2" wide x 5" tall)
  • Envelope: Use a 10" x 7.5" sheet paper
• Materials:
  • Niji Artist Watercolors Studio Set, 24 colors (NWS24)
  • Fusion brush round size 5 (FS5)

For the blue t-shirt

• Dimensions:
  • 9 3/4" sheet origami cut in half to 4 7/8" x 9 3/4"
• Materials:
  • Assorted colors origami pack large (4253)
