Items Used
For an easy, shoppable overview of the items used in this demo, visit our Mixed Media with Washi paper collection HERE.
- Hosho Paper Pad (6H) - great for gel printing! Inexpensive 9" x 12" 48 sheet pad. A classic!
- Usugami Paper (6U) - a thin, translucent paper that is lightly sized. Can be run through a printer (mount to a backing sheet first)
- Asagami Paper (6AG) - Crisp hemp paper. Great to print, gel print, and draw on. Takes ink and fine line pens very well.
- Detail Master Pigment Liner pens (DMPL) - Karen used these to doodle on her Usugami paper pieces
- Large Washi Paper Pad (6JM) - thinner than the 6H Hosho paper pad. Karen did the string covered brayer technique on this paper. Also used for Shibori and Orizome (dip-dyeing).
- Liquid black sumi ink (KF2) - the ink in the green bottle
- Hake brush (BFC1) - small, wide brush that Karen used to make marks on Usugami paper
- Niji Artist Blender Crayon (NACBL) - clear blender crayon that Karen used on the book page
- Niji Artist Watercolors 24 color Studio Set (NWS24)
- Fusion Flat brushes - coming soon!
