The Wonders of Washi
Join Karen Elaine for a creative play session with washi paper! In this demo she creates fused washi paper using dried leaves, crayon rubbings with stencils, and a variety of experimental gel prints.

All-Purpose Brush size 1 (SW1) - this is the brush Karen used for the Enso circles
- Quinacridone Magenta and Quinacridone Burnt Orange by Golden (not sold by Yasutomo) - Karen used these as glazes on a gel plate to get a bubbling / crackling effect
- Joggles circle stencil design by Elizabeth St. Hilaire (not sold by Yasutomo)
- Torinoko paper, 9 1/2" x 10 3/4" (6T) - Karen used this for the first rubbing

- Niji Artist Crayons
- Gasen paper, 9 1/2" x 10 3/4" (6G) - Karen used this for the second rubbing; more absorbent than Torinoko paper

- Asagami paper (6AG) - a crisper, "snappy" paper that is great for line drawings and running through a printer
