- Washi Paper Pad, 12" x 18" (6JM) - more translucent than 6H, so you'll see more light shine through
- Hosho Paper Pad, 9" x 12" (6H) - Karen used this for the light pink candle with blue designs
- Usugami paper (6U) - our thinnest tissue washi paper that is more translucent than the above papers, so you will get the most light shining through these
- Metallic Liquid Sumi Inks (CM series)
- Niji Watercolor Paper Pad, Hot Press (NHP-5)
- Kraft origami paper (4343)
- Round porcelain saucers (WCW210)
- Blick Studio Palette Paper Pad (not sold by Yasutomo)
- Metallic baker's twine (not sold by Yasutomo; Karen found hers on Amazon)
- Plain prayer candles (not sold by Yasutomo; Karen bought hers at the grocery store, just remove the stickers by soaking in water)
- Mashi Hosho (6MAH) - a thicker, sturdier washi paper that Karen gel printed than used to create her custom boxes
- Double Sided Origami Paper (4560, 4561, 4562) - Karen used these to create the fanned paper detail on top of the red and gold-splattered paper box
- Nori Paste 10 oz jar (NP56J) - Tip: Karen recommends diluting it with a bit of water and storing in an airtight jar so it's easier to use for this project :)
- Flat Fusion brush 1" flat (FS10)
- Winsor & Newton granulation medium (not sold by Yasutomo)
- Niji Artist Watercolors Studio Set, 24 colors (NWS24)
- Fusion flat brush 1/2" (FS05)
- All Purpose brush size 2 (SW2) for splattering
- Seal your artwork and make sumi ink waterproof with Krylon (water-based fixative), Dorland's Wax Medium, or Judikins Microglaze (these are not sold by Yasutomo)
