DIY Baby Name Room Decoration
Use origami paper on MDF letters to make a fun and pretty decoration for your child's room (or any room!)
DECOUPAGE IT!
Decoupage is the process of gluing paper cutouts to a hard surface, then coating it with a sealer, so it appears to blend with the background. A hake brush was chosen for this project because the handle is the perfect surface for the decoupage. A hake brush is excellent for painting large washes ink or watercolor, and it also makes a handy household item.
MINDFUL MARK MAKING WITH SUMI INK
This video shows an easy mindful art exercise using basic Sumi supplies to help relax the mind and body. Inspired by artist Natasha Newton's Youtube video on mindful mark making using watercolors. We decided to try it with liquid sumi ink and rice paper and love the results!
